终于入住了孟买，上个月的恐怖袭击已是尘埃落定，何况我们居住地离孟买的landmark 还至少有1个多小时的车程，上次袭击时压根没听到枪声。

这个小区都是不到二十层的高层，共6栋，都以花命名的楼宇名称，我们居所地叫jasmine。

终于感受到都市的气息了，唯一不足的是经常性停电，周一至周五上午下午都有停的时候，小区备有应急的发电机。

这是小区的入口，都是从15楼的阳台随意拍。

大概身处热带，所谓的高档小区都有健身房和游泳池，下图中蓝色的那个即是。

方兴未艾的地产建筑，背靠青山。

有机会再楼下近拍，在高档小区居住一定牢记中国人的形象，哈哈。

读印度经济时报，访谈中有专家提到中国，比较有意思。

1 在金融危机中，印度不象中国那女过分依赖国际市场，印度仍然有强大的国内市场。

2 在金融危机时，为保护国内市场，大部分发达国家会征收关税。中国就这样做了，（把我们列为了发达国家）。印度为什么不这么做呢，这是在wto的允许内，不是长期的保护主义。

3 中国的产品出口美国受阻，可能会有更多的产品来到印度销售。需要对中国的产品征收关税，put up tarriff.担心中国产品会不计成本的倾销印度，本地的产品没法竞争。

听动听中国网站，奥巴马的获胜感言很是热门，就下载了，然后关注他的两本书《dreams from my father》和《the audacity of hope》，都有音频版供下载，奥巴马亲自讲述，声音很好听。

就想找到文字版的书，网上好像还没出现电子版。

去城里，正好路过一个书店，就顺便进取问店家有没有奥巴马的书，正好是这两本畅销的，也算学习当代英语吧。

价钱可真不便宜，原版的英国出版，很厚实但拿着又很轻便（崇洋？），8.99英镑，只是前者标价395卢比，后者250卢比。折合成人民币真贵呢，好在卢比花起来就象在数纸。

想起了网络流行的笑话，拣了个鼠标，就配了台电脑，有知识。算作印度纪念了。

接到印度朋友的邀请，参加他儿子的婚礼。也算见识一下印度教的婚礼场面。仔细看了请柬，也算是制作的个性化请柬。人物，时间，地点清晰明了。

说到印度人结婚，不得不提arrangement marriage，绝大多数印度人都信奉父母给选择的门当户对的对象，并认为能获得长久的幸福和稳定的婚姻生活。而不是象我们几十年打破旧封建追求的自由恋爱。不管是乡村的青年还是受过高等教育的工程师，都是同样的父母之言。双方见面，觉得差不多能接受就等着结婚了，绝对没有马拉松式的恋爱考验。

一般印度教的婚礼安排在下午，因为这位主人公是军人（在让人敏感的克什米尔地区服役，captain），据说按军人的习俗就安排在晚上，正式的典礼时间是18点28分，也选择了我们喜欢的吉利数字。

入口处，分发每人一朵玫瑰鲜花，还有一小袋彩色的米粒。注意看鲜花旁边的脸盆里盛的就是。收礼也是在这，一般关系是100卢比，相当于10多元，还是我们的90年代水平。彩色的米粒是干什么用的呢，猜一猜吧。

布置好的主席台，就等着新人啦。

还以为下面的小伙子是司仪呢，后来知道是歌手，婚礼的高潮部分就是在他悠扬的祝福歌声中进行的。一大篇歌词。

主席台一侧，是送给新人的嫁妆、礼物，当然只是一小部分展示，大部分都提前放在新房了。有一些是不错的工艺品。

早早来到现场的亲朋好友，据说得有几百人之众，男宾女宾分别在两个区域。

万事俱备，只欠东风了，新人出场了。他们从附近的教堂走来。

婚礼仪式开始，介绍贵宾，一个个走向主席台，给贵宾每人一条看样子比较昂贵的头巾，并缠在头上，长长的一条头巾，还有左三圈右三圈的缠起来。

下面是婚礼的正式部分，歌手唱起了祝福的歌，当唱到祝福语时，台下的人们就把手中的彩米一次次撒向主席台的新人，原来在入口处给每个人发的一小袋米是干这个用的。台上此时一直扯着一块白布，不知道其中的含义。

再近距离看一下盛装的新郎和新娘，胸前又多了象征吉祥的花环。

也送去我对新人的祝愿，呵呵。

整个仪式持续了半个小时。然后人们进入另一个大厅开始吃婚宴啦，都是自助的甜食和特色的masala，米饭和roti，我们则提前告退吃中国餐喽。

AK47,MP5s used in attacks.

The Russian-made AK47 is used by Eastern Bloc forces, while the MP5 was developed in the 1960s is used by NATO, specially the Germans. It is not as widely available on the black market for arms and hence to terrorists organizations as the AK47s, as most of its manufacture is in relatively stable geographies, unlike the AK47. However, the Pakistan Army uses the MP5. The Pakistan Ordnance Factories builds MP5s under license from Heckler & Koch.
